The PepGel PGmatrix system is a powerful research biotool for 3D cell culture that produces high content physiological spheroids (3D colonies or organoids) with in vivo like bioinformatics at the exosome-level according to RNA sequencing analysis. PGmatrix kits are pre-formulated into various cell culture media or left pure for the customer-preferred medium to support 3D cultures of various cell types including T-cells, cancer cells, stem cells, and normal organ cells. PGmatrix kits are self-healing hydrogels that can support the bioprinting of cells, spheroids, and organoids into patterns or Lab-on-Chip by pipetting without post-printing crosslinking aids.  These kits, particularly the PGmatrix Pure, are also popular for 3D cell imaging or in vivo delivery purposes.  A typical PepGel PGmatrix kit consists of a vial of the PGmatrix patented peptide nanofiber solution and a vial of the PGworks trigger solution. The PGmatrix nanofibrils are in neutral pH. A 3D microenvironment can be formed accordingly for cell or spheroid growth. With PGmatrix, cells no longer suffer acidic or chilled conditions, cultured cells and spheroids are easily harvested from the matrix, and all operating procedures can be completed at room or body temperatures in neutral pH.
