Traditional cell culture methods rely on flat, two-dimensional (2D) surfaces or force cells into artificial “3D” aggregates, creating mechanically constrained layers that compromise natural cell behavior and limit functional outcomes.

PGmatrix™ overcomes traditional cell culture limitations with a fully defined, animal-free platform that preserves the structural and functional integrity essential for cutting-edge regenerative medicine. Besides mechanical cues, our matrix incorporates a balanced array of built-in ECM ligands that engage cell-surface receptors, including integrins and cadherins, to provide the signaling cues that support cell survival, growth, expansion, and differentiation.
